I use automatic openers on four Rion vents installed on a GH46 greenhouse.   As the auto opener moves, the Rion vent handles catch at the notches unless you remove them or cover them up.  I tried covering them with a strip of aluminum flashing glued to the handle with a Gorrilla glue-type adhesive.  I left the "lockdown" notch open so I could batten the vents down in windy weather.  Here is a photo:

I had pretty good results in cold weather, but six out of eight Al strips have fallen off during the summer.  I think the handles are PVC, and it's tough to find an adhesive that will stick to PVC and other materials too.  I'm looking for new ideas on how to keep the handles installed, and prevent the auto opener from hanging up on the notches.  The only idea I've come up with so far is to plug the notches in the handle with Dymonic FC caulk, which I used a year ago to plug cracks between the frame and panels of the GH, and it is still in good shape.   Thanks for any help.
