SC Need Help To Build a Greenhouse!

Printer-friendly versionHello all! I am in SC, looking at building a greenhouse for my fiance for an upcoming Christmas surprise. He is an avid landscaper and loves to work with plants, starting them, etc. We have talked about buying one to put in the back of our 3 acres for him, but $ is always an issue. My father welds and has a metal fabication shop, where I am thinking we can make a frame and then only have the expenses of the cover for the greenhouse.....however, having never attempted a greenhouse before, in need of some ideas, plans, suggestions, thoughts, recommendations, etc. Any and all are welcome! Thanks!
