I have a 1200 sq ft greenhouse and nothing else with no funding. I would like to find a grant so we (the high school) can put in a solar propagation heated mats using hot water coils perhaps copper tubing backed to a thermostat that would kick into propane water heater for night continuous heating. Or does anyone have any plans that are idiot proof, cheap, and easy to build and install. I am only looking to start with an 4x 20 ft bench top. Oh, we have no benches but you get the idea.

Anza,

What state are you located in? There are many different types of grants available for schools. Some are local and some are national. A good one that comes to mind immediately is the Lowe's Grant. You can view this grant by copying and pasting this link: http://www.lowes.com/lowes/lkn?action=p ... index.html . I am a school consultant and sales rep for international Greenhouse Company and would be more than happy to assist you with any questions you may have.
