What is the difference between bulk and fabricated shade cloth?

"Bulk" cloth is just unfinised, that is, with no grommets and no edging. Typically, it is useful to purchase some kind of fastening hardware to help make installation of the bulk cloth easier. Plastic grommets and shark-bite fasteners are two popular and easy-to-use installation methods.
